SSES – Services Sewer System Evaluation Survey

Moore & Bruggink has full capabilities for evaluation studies of existing sewer systems. Services include flow monitoring, manhole inspection, smoke testing and dye testing. An experienced field crew backed up by knowledgeable office engineering staff is able to survey all types of storm and sanitary sewers to determine existing conditions and current flows or to identify sources of infiltration or inflow.

A current project is underway in the City of Walker on the Grand Rapids sanitary sewer collection system to identify sources of inflow and recommend a corrective action plan.
Moore & Bruggink smoke testing. Through cooperation with the local Fire Department, rooftop evidence of smoke emission is identified and documented.
Smoke evidence is documented and photographed. Some signs of smoke confirm working systems.
And some identify points of inflow to be corrected.
