Improvements to Rogers Park in the Village of Sparta came about because of
the lack of recreational facilities and wet soils caused by seasonal
flooding of Nash Creek at the existing park. Moore & Bruggink provided
design engineering and construction management for this project. The
project consisted of creating a shelf along Nash Creek to increase small
flooding capacities. The project included a band shell with patio area,
playground area with sitting wall, a pavilion with picnic area and a bike
path through these facilities as well as along the creek.
