Moore & Bruggink's work in Lowell Township includes full engineering survey and design of the Meijer Store site, improvements to the Harold Zeigler Ford car dealership site, the Stoneridge Apartments, and the residential plat development located west of the Meijer store. These developments required the extension of public watermain and sanitary sewer, design and construction of public roadways, as well as coordination and agreements between Lowell Township, the design team, MDOT, MDEQ, Kent County Road Commission, City of Lowell, and all surrounding property owners involved with these various projects. The design and construction of the 190,000 sft store included new public water, sanitary and storm sewer, new county roadway, and widening of state highway M-21. The Zeigler Ford project which is adjacent to the new Meijer store, consisted of a building addition to increase the sales and service areas of the business. Also the parking lot was expanded to include more automobile sales area and customer parking. The storm water management system and landscaping was also updated.
