Timothy J. Hoffert, P.E. was elected as a company
shareholder.
Brian J. Hannon, E.I.T. recently joined Moore & Bruggink as a Project
Engineer. Steven C. Groenenboom, P.E. Named Vice President --
Moore & Bruggink, Inc., a long-time Grand Rapids consulting engineering
firm, has named Steven C. Groenenboom, P.E., as Vice President and
promoted Steve to an officer position within the company. Mr. Groenenboom
is a registered, professional engineer and has been involved with the
design and construction of various highway, urban, and rural street and
bridge projects since he began with Moore & Bruggink in 1988. His
experience also includes numerous MDOT projects designed along state
trunkline roads as well as the design and construction of a variety of
sanitary sewer, lift station and watermain projects. Mr. Groenenboom is a
stockholder with Moore & Bruggink, and currently sits on the Board of
Directors of the Corporation. "In his consultant role, Steve faithfully
serves as the Ada Township Engineer and as City Engineer for the City of
Ferrysburg. Steve has demonstrated excellent engineering knowledge,
impressive leadership, and project management skills keeping our corporate
team strong and our client product exceptional. We are excited to have
Steve serve as an officer in our corporation" says President Bob Bruggink.
Gary C. Voogt, P.E., C.E.O. Retires -- Gary retired in July of 2007 after
41 years of valuable service. He was a 1966 graduate of Michigan
Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. He became registered as a
Michigan Professional Engineer in 1970 and a stockholder in Moore &
Bruggink in 1974. His work was primarily with Michigan municipalities and
the Michigan Department of Transportation, assisting with project
planning, financing, and design. He acted as City Engineer and Township
Engineer in many communities in the West Michigan area. He was a Governor
Engler appointed Director on the Michigan Beef Industry Commission, past
President of the Michigan Cattleman's Association, and served as a
Director on the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. In 2001 he was
honored with a Distinguished Service Award from Michigan State University
for service to Michigan Agriculture and Natural Resources. Gary and his
wife Shirley now focus on running their 170 acre family farm where they
raise registered Angus cattle. |
