Muskegon, Michigan -- Moore & Bruggink is providing site civil engineering to The Architectural Group design firm for this project on the Mercy General Sherman Boulevard Campus in Muskegon, Michigan. The owners, Muskegon Holdings, SC, LLC, have planned for this 72,000 sft medical facility to house the Muskegon Surgery Center, Mercy Rehabilitation Clinic and the offices of the Orthopaedic Associates of Muskegon. The two level facility is situated in a picturesque setting along the Little Black Creek that utilizes natural site contours. Moore & Bruggink coordinated extensive environmental planning and permitting to minimize impact to the wetlands in the area. The site design also minimizes impact to the creek from parking lot and roof storm runoff, and allows groundwater recharge, through the use of an underground stormwater storage system.
