Moore & Bruggink provided design and construction engineering of a new private road including a Con/Span bridge over the Clam River in Wexford County. The project required extensive work with the MDEQ to approve the road location and bridge placement, as they are located within a regulated floodplain and high quality wetland area. Approval from the MDEQ for the road and bridge placement included field survey and a hydraulic analysis of the river using the HEC-RAS computer program.
